Visiting my Fiancé at her college. I don’t even know what to say about this car other then how much horsepower can a E-Class get from this?

Also would this be a real shelby? I wouldn’t doubt it here. UPDATE: The Oppo Super Slueths have confirmed my suspicions in asking. the GT wheels were what peaked my interest, wrong tail lights, bin code says it has a 4.6. The only people who care if it's a Shelby are smart enough to know it's not.

I’m curious to the Shelby. It is almost a match minus the letters Shelby missing on the rear. What leads me to believe it isn’t is the extra window scoops added.

Those look like more base model wheels too. If it tell you anything there's a brand new bro dozed sitting accords from it so expensive cars aren't uncommon.

Running the plate and the vin are inconclusive. GT coupe and Shelby coupe have the same code as does the Bullit variant.

Must be a GT then because Scoob said the Vin check is just said it's a GT/Shelby/Bullit. All had same vin codes. Also just saw a GT with GT badges and had those wheels.

It’s an 08 if that helps you further identify it. I’m only good at reading codes, not the physical atributes of special editions. Also has the engine code for the 4.6.

Not a real Shelby. Brake light is wrong, it’s missing a badge (which I’m surprised he didn’t add), GT500 tips are stainless, and the side/window scoops are fake no matter what. It’s usually even easier to tell from the front, though.

Yeah it’s a GT. I'll update the post. Also going to write another post later about why people put badges on cars that are obviously not the car. The only people that care are smart enough to realize what it really is.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s infuriating. The coolest thing to do is take advantage of all of the improved parts that come along with a higher trim model, add them, but keep the exterior roughly the same.
